ABOUT

This blog wants to show you the many attractions of the area in the south of Rome, where our Residenza storica is. It is a beautifull, interesting zone under lots of aspects but almost unknown to most people.
In the CULTURE section you will find tips on historical and artistical itineraries, monuments, interesting places and activities and tours related to these places.
In the section EAT you can discover everything about good food and good wines: restaurants, events, wine yards, places to try and buy first class products and learn stories and traditions of the place.
In the WALK section you can find naturalistic itineraries to discover the beauties of our surroundings and the chance to really enjoy it through different activities.
SWIM: The sea is very near, here you can find the best places, the most beautiful, clean, and unspoiled beaches. There are also quite a lot of lakes in the area and in many of them you can freshen up between a walk and a visit.
READ: In this section I will try to inform you about the good reads related to this area or to special events that are taking place. A particular attention is dedicated to children's literature because I really think that traveling with kids is not only possible but also fun and can be really educatiional, especially for the adults ;)!
EVENTS: Here you can find a calender with the most interesting activities (or at least the ones we consider most interesting) in the period of your stay.
